i always loved joy division, probably them and the dead kennedys are my favorite bands ever. but for a long time i really skipped over this song all the time, i didnt hate it...i just wasnt feeling it as much as the rest of there stuff.ya know?...or maybe i didnt get it?....now thats its been 6 months since ive been out of a relationship this song really hits me in the heart in the most somber way. yes love will tear us apart, but this song is about 2 people who have known each other and loved each other so much that they have grown apart. love made them see each others flaws. they have gotten sick of each other and are realizing how different they really are. you can still love someone, but not be in love with them & in the end its actually for the best and those 2 people are stronger because of it.
