i have a case i have spent more that a year on because it is complicated with several different issues...i have been tackling each issue one by one in order to work through them...a cousin got involved with some legal training and has undone what i have been working on in the matter of two weeks and is rushing the whole matter to a conclusion which will close out the case but leave a number of things still hanging...there are blm grazing rights involved as well as national forest grazing rights, water rights and bia lease issues with different factions of the family holding part of the rights and leaving the others out...with discussion and arguing and compromise i had worked with the family on a long term solution that would benefit them for several generations working out a family trust and grazing operation protecting it from distribution under the new bia probate laws so that it would be preserved as one unit.....and go down from generation to generation as a family operation based on the desires of the elders...this has all been changed...i am somewhat disgusted...right now i am thinking of just walking away from the whole thing...
