im home. my mom is doing very well. she still has some residual fine motor skill issues on her right side, but are improving very quickly! her speech is still a bit off, but if you didnt know she had a problem, you wouldnt even notice. i am soooooo glad that it was a small stroke and she didnt wreck and kill herself or someone else when she was driving to crescent city to play for church. the things that go through a persons head when they know something is wrong is amazing. even though she was dizzy and her right arm wasnt working right, she thought she would be ok if she could just get to church and play the piano and organ. so glad the minister recognized the symptoms and had someone take her to the hospital! thank you everyone for the prayers and positive thoughts.
