imagine how good things would have been here, if our government had done the same thing with OUR assets rather than freely hand them over to their friends. Whitlam wanted to Nationalise the mining industry, because he thought that the wealth from the ore belonged to all Australians. and we know what happened to him, Fraser got in, and the whole idea was thrown out the window (never bite the hand that arranges a coup detat)
