in case you dont know... check the resume: Nomadik has been a Hip Hop, R&b, Reggae & Jazz DJ for over 14 years. During that time she has hosted radio shows on WERS (88.9fm) & WMBR (88.1fm) in the Boston area. She has DJed in various venues throughout the Greater Boston area & occupied residencies @ the Milky Way, Jamaica Plain, Harpers Ferry in Allston, The Patio in Malden & Naga in Cambridge in the past decade. In addition to her DJing, Nomadik founded her own entertainment company called SoulKore Productions which organizes, promotes, manages artists & Provides quality cultural entertainment for the Boston area & beyond. SoulKore has been creating shows & events on an on-going basis since 2001. Their first party (just 2 weeks after 9-11 tragedy) sold out within the 1 st hour at the legendary House of Blues. Since then, SoulKore has gone on to produce various events representing the true flavor of hip hop & all other forms of cultural entertainment. Nomadik is also the State Leader for Massachusetts & Head of the Universal Zulu Nation Boston Chapter. (The Universal Zulu Nation was founded by Afrika Bambaataa in 1973). In the late 2000s, Nomadik & SoulKore organized their first tour The Time Travel Tour which showcased hip hop legends (X-clan, Wise Intelligent & YZ). She was featured in bostons Weekly Dig Magazine Nov 2013 as one of Bostons local celebrities. In 2009 Nomadik won best female DJ by the Urban Music Awards. She won 2007 Best Promoter of the year, her STARDUST open mic event at Milky way, she won the Dig this Awards 2007 BEST HIP HOP NIGHT. Currently Nomadik is hosting a night at Tornado in Malden every 2nd & 4th Tuesday of the month. She has also been seen DJing in various cities in New England and across the U.S. Nomadik has been newly appointed to run a local branch of the JDilla foundation, details on that will be revealed soon.
