it may sound controversial but the truth is most of our so-called parliamentarians dont deserve to be there in the first place. without any probing, the MPs approved a facility from the millennium development compact setting, as a condition for accessing loans, the privatization of electricity. majority of the MPs did not read the document, they just pushed the crap through and it was accepted. meanwhile, the ndc government promised energy for all by 2016. Now were being told that if you are poor and cant afford to pay for something as basic as electricity, youll sleep in perpetual darkness till your time on earth is done. this, certainly, will have an effect on school going children from poor homes. shouldnt we think about #occupyingparliament? that body has become, without any apologies, a JOKE and should be scrapped. are these egg heads or lawmakers?
