Born in Burlington, NC Asheville is just under 4 hours drive. Fortunately for me, I have relatives that live in Asheville, so I could visit anytime. Now, whats so very ironic and COOL is where I live now. In Staten Island, I now live in a room built in the early 1900s for children of the Vanderbilts. Its one of 8 homes on,you guessed it, Vanderbilt ave. Needless to say, this home still shows this grand stature any Vanderbilt home shows, as none were built like a normal house you expect.
