its official. IM GETTING MARRIED IN A WEEK!! kidding, but now that ive got you lovelies attention(; I only have 7 days until the deadline of my next payment for my mission trip to Thailand. I still have a total of 2200 dollars to raise, and 950 of it is due on January 8th. Heres the amazing description of what this PERFECT trip will look like for us: During our trip we will be loving the orphan, the refugee, the invalid, the leper, the sick and the broken. Our heart and goal is to show these people what the extravagant love of God looks like. We will be ministering in Mae Sot, a city on the Burma border. There are countless refugees and orphans coming out of Burma everyday, escaping genocide. We will be partnering with a team who works with these refugees, they have created businesses that provide jobs for the local Thais and Burmese. During our time in Mae Sot we will be going into hospitals praying for the sick, activating several children homes in the supernatural, and ministering to the local team on the ground. We will also be working in Bangkok. Bangkok is well known for the Red Light District a place where human trafficking is all too common. In Bangkok we will be partnering with a ministry that works with women coming out of trafficking. We will be pouring into their team, filling them with strength and comfort that is much needed. Leaders of ministries tend to get overlooked during short term missions, but our heart is to pour life into these men and women. Building them up and thanking them. God is so thankful for the work that they do, and they need to be reminded! I feel like i was made for this trip!! AHHHH. My heart has such a special place for this country, this team, and this trip.
