just a little statement i found, written by my uncle thmas ross holme II about my mom Judy Eiland . Individual: Judy always seemed to be in the thick of it when we were kids. I was her older brother and wa s supposed to protect her. I actually remember three occasions, which might be worth remembering, once she was in a fire in the basement and I got out and got help, once she was drowning and I got her to shore, and once neighborhood bullies were throwing rocks at us and Judy got hit in the head and was covered with blood from head to foot and I brought her home to mom, who screamed when she saw us. She actually appreciated me until the day I tried to save her from a boyfriend who wanted to kiss her. That was the last straw as far as she concerned. After that she seemed to have decided to learn to swim and fight fire and fend off swarms of rocks with whatever was handy and do things on her own. Needlesstosay my life has been considerably quieter since I am no longer needed to rescue her from the never ending situations which life gets a kick out of dealing her. Plus she is quite good at kicking her own used up boyfriends out on their butts without anyone elses help at all. Judy has become a bit of a philospher from all this. She will pour a cup of coffee for you an d one for herself and sit down at a table with you and sigh and tell you a bit of well-thought-out wisdom you will remember for quite a while.
