just posted this comment on news24: Yay... Yet another idiot who thinks businesses should kill themselves to create jobs. This is not how it works. When somebody starts a business they do it because they have vision and are leaders. They do this for a living. And the more ambitious and visionary they are the more jobs are created. So the only thing that can create jobs in a country is to make it easier for these people of vision. If you look at the ANC they have done EVERYTHING they can to make sure businesses cannot thrive. The state kept as much of the economy as possible to themselves. Monopoly licenses. Disenfranchisement of white businessmen at every opportunity. Stringent labour laws designed to benefit the pay taker and absolutely no consideration for the pay giver. Somebody has to give the pay! But the leaders of the private sector has been the punching bag of the ANC who every time something goes right took credit for it and every time something went wrong lambasted the the private sector. And in general used the private sector as their cookie jar for whatever they want. Politicians organizing business opportunities for themselves (probably the greatest sin a democratic politician can commit)! Wonderful input from the COPE and DA representatives. It is clear that they have a clue. The EFF guy... Not so much. The trend for communist states in the world in history to turn into cesspools or corruption and human suffering is so obvious that I believe that they know it and have negative motives.
