just spent the last 30 minutes listening to my 8 year olds problems at school over pancakes and milk. She said her best friend is Emily, she loves recess and one girl that was picking on her earlier this year is starting to like her more. At the end of our meal, she said I like talking to you dad. I said me too- left the table and went the bathroom and cried like a big fat baby... what a moment. I hope we can have these types of discussions when she is older with different problems. My life is coming full circle with my children in my life... Regardless of what you drive, where you live, what your bank account says- kids have a way of blessing you like no other... thank you Lord for showing me the love I have for them is a fraction of the love you have for me! :)
