The 40-year-old victim of Orealla, Corentyne River is incarcerated on a charge of attempted rape. The two accused, Krisendat Seeram, called Apple Boy, 23, of Yakusari Black Bush Polder is incarcerated for robbery under arms while Navindra Seepersaud, 28, of Hampshire Corentyne Berbice is in prison on a charge of break and enter and larceny. It is understood that around 19:30 hrs on Wednesday the men were in their cell when Seepersaud allegedly held on to the victim and choked him. Seeram then stripped the victim and sodomised him. The victim did not raise an alarm but reported the matter to the prison authorities around 07:00 hrs the following morning.
