last summer i had a goal that for the 6 weeks i would be living in NYC, i would read a play a day. of course, i didnt take into account all the places id want to explore, all the plays id want to see, all the bagels id want to eat. nor did i think that the staff at the drama book shop would recognize me so easily... so i stopped at 19. its crazy (and slightly nauseating) to me the gaping holes i have in my knowledge of theatre history, playwrights, plays... so, im back at it again, catching up first on the plays i should have read long ago. 1. Whos Afraid of Virginia Woolf. I CANNOT BELIEVE I WASNT HERE TO SEE THIS PRODUCTION AT ARENA. calling the performing arts library tomorrow to see if theyve got the tracy letts production on record. i need to see it.
