late last night I posted about a rhodesian ridgeback in Kelowna that was in need of emergency transportation to save its life - I had several offers of help and people who couldnt transport asked what they could do to help, and many other people make kind comments of support - I want to thank them all - however, all of our efforts fell on deaf ears - the owners refused to sign the release papers and went ahead with the killing of their young dog - this dog, from ALL reports could have been rehabilitated - I have no idea of why the owners would make that decision - my intuition suspects revenge for biting their kid - Im sure none of this would have happened had the dog been given what he needed - if you dont give a dog what it needs, it CANT give you what you want :(
