late upload- we finally met our baby boy last nov 25 at exactly 4:47 pm. it was never easy. i have been on induced labor for nearly 24 hours. when admitted last nov. 24 3 pm due to labor pains i was at 5 cm 60% until around 5 pm and so they decided to induce my labor. after 12 hours i was stuck still at 5 cm and so they have increased the oxytocin drops frop 20 to 38, it made a change, by 10 am i was at 6 cm. by noon doctors have decided to break my bag of water with a hope that my cervix will open faster. hours went by, until around 4 pm my doctor finally informed me that we have to do a c section. the news did not shock me nor discouraged me to keep on praying that i will have a normal delivery. the doctor gave orders that i am gven until 5 pm and by then we will perform the operation... but guess what kept my eneergy from draining while going through it all? it was you guys.. sounds cheesy but true. i recollected my happy thoughts with my family, friends, relatives, colleagues, students or any happy moment i could recall of. every time the contraction goes stronger i simply close my eyes and think of those happy moments. happy moments that i would want my son and daughter not to miss.. i may not be able to name each one of you but you did help me in making it through the roughest time of my life and i would like to thank you for it.
