livingwaters The DUH (Don’t Understand How) folks are at it again. This time they are saying that a discovery that water predates the sun “has implications for the search for life beyond Earth, as water is believed to be necessary for life.” That’s right, we can’t live without water. Or food. Or air. Or gravity. Or the sun. Fortunately, they all just coincidentally happened to be here, so that we could be here. However, those who believe the Bible already knew that water predated the sun. We read that in the opening words of Genesis: In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. It was then that God said “Let there be light…” Those who don’t know God have a mind that is without form and void. They haven’t formulated origins and their mind is void of understanding--“having their understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God, because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart…” (Ephesians 4:18). It’s upon repentance and faith in Jesus that God says “Let there be light.” Thats when the darkness flees and life begins.
