Duties of the Business Development Representative / Lead Generation role include: Conducting a high volume of outbound telephone calls to prospective customers to identify decision makers and opportunities with the goal of setting appointments for Sales Representatives. Conducting background research on leads from the Company database. Contacting company prospects and identifying the appropriate point-of-contact who could evaluate the Company solution. Introducing the Company’s solution to prospective companies within the Company’s database, and scheduling 15-minute product introductions between prospective clients and the Company’s Sales Representatives. Discovering new leads through internet research and social media monitoring/commenting. Engaging with prospects via web chat on the Company website. Capturing accurate and complete information in the Salesforce CRM and Pardot Marketing Automation. Advancement Opportunities for the Business Development Representative / Lead Generation role: Individuals in the Business Development Representative / Lead Generation role may advance to the Sales Representative role.
