.... my 2 cents on Jesse Jr. & Sandi Jesse Jr. is a young man who was raised in wealth and privilege, and who used his family connections to get elected to the US Congress. And who used his family connections to get his wife elected as a Chicago Alderman. Once there Jesse and Sandi betrayed the confidence of their constituents and turned out to be liars cheaters and thieves. The prosecution was not racially motivated. They were prosecuted because they were common and corrupt. The sentences handed down today were not overly lenient because of family connections or race. The sentences were within federal sentencing guidelines. Both Sandi & Jesse Jr. showed contrition and openly accepted responsibility for their crimes. Some will claim that the tears and contrition were only acts. The truth is that only those two know for sure, and it does not matter. The sentencing was fair and within guidelines, and neither Jesse Jr. or Sandi Jackson will ever again soil another ballot .
