my friends, i hope you will forgive my overposting today on Facebook. i have a good reason, i promise. today, i share the news with you: my new album Heart Bleed Out, 2 years in the making, has found a home. Blackbird Music, a small, passionate Berlin label, will release the album on October 24th, 2014. the album was funded to near-completion through my wonderful Pledge Music supporters, as well as through a grant from the Deutsche Initiative Musik. then early this year, Blackbird stepped in: 2 new songs were recorded, several others were remixed, a video was made, a promotional team was assembled - in short, Blackbird provided everything necessary to bring the album to YOU. today i am thrilled to share this sneak peek into the making of my album, some of the stories behind it, some song snippets...its a bit of a teaser, but definitely not a spoiler: youtu.be/6hBGnubHtfw and here is Blackbirds website, with tourdates, news, etc: blackbird-music.de/ ill tour Germany in November by myself, and again in February with my band. and ill play a big album release show in Berlin on Oct. 23 at Grüner Salon. and tonight, just for the hell of it, ill play at the lovely little BarBobu in Friedrichshain. thank. you. all.
