ok...so help me out here with a Bible version issue and tell me if this makes sense to you or if ive gone off the deep end and become one of the crazies... Psa 145:13 ESV Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and your dominion endures throughout all generations. [The LORD is faithful in all his words and kind in all his works.] Psa 145:13 KJV Thy kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and thy dominion endureth throughout all generations. The ESV adds words to the verse when compared to the KJV or the NASB. One of the biggest problems i have with adding these words to the text is that i try to base my presuppositions on Scripture. Scripture tells me that the word of God as found in the OT was committed to the Jews (Rom 3:1-2). It just so happens that the Jews reject the words that the ESV has added here. Thus in accepting them into the canon we are saying that we reject the biblical presupposition that the OT word of God has been committed to the Jews.
