okay I just have to share this cuz I am feeling so excited and like I have a purpose. Having to quit work has been not only scary because I still dont know how my family is going to survive financially, but because I am used to always working. My decision to make our homeless project a non-profit organization was not one I took lightly, I didnt want to be full of rules, I just wanted to be able to help more people . This morning after my prayer and scriptures, I started feeling like this is something I really need to be putting a lot of my effort into. Well , just a little while ago I got a text message from a lady who got my name and knowS that I am collecting things for the homeless, she proceeded to tell me about a family it has three children, the mom has cancer and is going to chemotherapy.. the father has a job, that every penny goes into medical expenses. And since he is working they dont qualify for any assistance. she said they were just in need of some basic cleaning supplies, toilet paper toothpaste just some stuff like that, was there anyway I can help. and I thought sure there is no reason why we cant get a few things together.. shortly after that I get a phone call from the manager at a store out here who tells me hes learned about this family (consequently the same family) and they are not allowed to help individuals, or individual families but they can make donations to the organization was there any chance that they could donate to me $25 worth of supplies to help this family and that I could give it to them? I believe that this is what my Heavenly Father wants me to be doing, and as long as I am serving others he will find a way to keep my family rockin!
