palindrome is a word or sentence which has same letters in order read from front to back or back to front either way. but there is another poetic aspect in sanskrit(ancient language of india) called vilomakavitvam. viloma poems dont have same letters from front to back and back to front like palindromes but they give one meaning if read from front to back and another one if read backwards. Most famous viloma poem is ramakrishnakaavyam composed arround 14th century by Daivagna surya pandita. this book is a poetical treatise on hindu legend/god Rama. if it is read backwards. it will become a poetry about another legend Krishna. so it is called Rama krishna kavya. Example: तं भूसुतामुक्तिमुदारहासं वन्दे यतो भव्यभवम् दयाश्रीः I pay my homage to Him who rescued Sita, whose laughter is captivating, whose incarnation is grand, and from whom mercy and splendor arise everywhere. if this is read backwards it becomes a praise to sri krishna. श्रीयादवं भव्यभतोयदेवं संहारदामुक्तिमुतासुभूतम् ॥ I bow before that Sri Krishna, the descendent of Yaadava family; who is a divinity of the sun as well as the moon; who destroyed Putana who only gave destruction; and who is the soul of all this universe.
