refrigeration has changed the human trajectory more than religion? we have even stopped praying to god to harden materials or otherwise give strength to actual worldly goods and turned to (occasionally) cryogenic treatments. We have technologies developed via temp control and vacuum deposition. I can be quick-frozen to receive treatment/curing later. Just like my beef. Carnot>Jesus? Im talking big picture here. obviously, w/o Jesus, carnot would have been a different person at least. Perhaps a different son the of the ruling class. Without Carnot, what would Jesus look like today? Probably saltier. More of a naval theme, fewer sheep?
