**rescue update** Please be patient if you have sent an email or message in the last 24 hours. Tonight we were notified of a horrific incident at animal control as a mama dog who had just give birth began to attack her own puppies and almost killed them. While we think the mom was trying to protect them, in doing so she was hurting them badly and the shelter agreed to allow rescues to help. One has already been stitched up twice. These are bottle feeders, meaning every 2 hours we will have to feed these puppies. We will be working with the Rescue Warriors and 3R Dog Training & Rescue on these puppies. A very high percentage of bottle feeders dont make it, however they were certainly about to die with the mom. This is also why you dont condone backyard breeding! An irresponsible person is solely to blame for this situation. Spay and neuter. Always. And please, please pray for these babies this week and if you can help us with donations, let us know.
