see, my biggest issue isnt even the fact that some people hold firmly to their faith and truly believe one faith is superior over the other. to each is own, and thats between that person and God. Or perhaps, if they dont believe in a faith, then that too is upon them. I hold firmly to my own beliefs as well. But. What does make me wonder is, if someone is defending their religion and then drawing comparisons between theirs and another faith, should it not be done in a respectful manner? Simply out of respect for their OWN faith? I mean, whats with all the overly dramatic spirit fingers, the insanely sarcastic tone and not to mention, the need to mock not only Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) but also Jesus (peace be upon him) by creating characters out of them? I mean, if you had any respect for your own faith, forget another, why present this video to the public in such a downright disrespectful manner. From a young age, I was always taught that when someone is trying to avoid discussing a situation in a mature manner, they will opt to mocking, ridiculing and degrading their opponent. Well, in doing so, this gentleman also made a huge mockery of himself as an advocate for his faith. Im not sure in what way hes interpreted the Quran, but his facts are so misleading and so horribly cited. For the most part, he tells his viewers where to look it up in the Quran, by providing little snippets that say look it up- but fails to actually provide the ayah (verse) or surah (chapter) from within the quran, word for word. Which only leads me to believe he could have cited any ayah or surah for the sake of providing something for the video without any relevancy. Some might think this post is stupid and too long, but just like many other Muslims I am surrounded by, we defend our faith no matter where or when.
