so I shared our new chick pics but I forgot to tell everyone that the Wednesday before chicks started hatching our broad breasted pet Tom (was sold as standard so was made a pet for breeding and was to attached by the time we realized we were told wrong) started acting off. he just want himself. all day stayed in the coop so after hubby was home to keep an eye on our youngest I carried a prob 40#+ turkey up to the house. I had to do something he is my lil guys fav bird in our yard and it was the day before his bday. I started by trying to hand feed and water him and get ideas from turkey breeders. he looked bad.
