so here is a little post for everyone out there who is still running Windows XP and is scrambling to fix things before XP dies and becomes a health hazard to your computer... take heart.. if you are still running XP after the end of life guess what your computer will still boot and still function just fine... end of life simply means that Microsoft will no longer update or support the software...... and guess what your personal data will not somehow become instantly more accessible to hackers. it means Microsoft will not offer any more security updates for window XP operating system. what you should ask yourself is this why at the end of life for the software is it that they still have to issue security patches every week??? could it be the software is inherently insecure? any way yes you should look at an upgrade... if your computer is still running XP it is not just the software that is outdated it is the hardware as well. you will be amazed at the performance you get from a new pc. but take your time it is not a huge rush and quite simply put if you are not concerned about the performance you could probably continue to run xp for years to come.. and see little affect from doing so the people who are at risk are large corporations, organizations with sensitive data etc. and that is my thoughts on that!
