so...thanks to the astute research of Jake Small we have now established that I was discovered by Frank Zappa on the evening of October 18, 1976 while playing with a great band called Sweetheart at Fannys nightclub in Nashville Tennessee. just for the record. thanks Jake! Frank stayed for about 40 minutes, he shook my hand while we were playing Gimme Shelter. he got my name and number from his limo driver Jerry Pugh (thanks Jerry) and called me around six months later to audition for him. and changed my life forever.
