the Philadelphia Eagles currently have about $15.7 M in cap space. That is the third most in the NFL, with Jacksonville Jaguars and Cleveland Browns having more. Parting Ways with: James Casey frees up- $4 M DeMeco Ryans frees up- $6.8 M Trent Cole frees up- $11 Mil If Philadelphia cuts ties with all of these players, they will have as much as $34.2 Million to work with. Simply because Ryans and Cole being released would hurt our Defense, probably in a big way, I feel that they should restructure their contract. Both are willing to do so to stay an Eagle. I wouldnt mind releasing James Casey. That should be enough to sign at least a CB, a SS, and maybe another OLB in FA. -MK21
