the car robber does it again last night. Unfortunately i couldnt help the lady walking with her husband, about 9.30pm on alihassan mwinyi road opp. upanga club, was on cycle from a distant and saw this car slow down next to a gate. they were as if parking their car on the pavement, but actually waiting for this couple on foot to come next to their car. as soon as the couple reached the car all i saw was the guy sitting at the back grab the purse and the car started to move. thankgod the ladys arm didnt get locked to the handbag strap so she just fell leaving the purse or she would have been dragged. it was a white old model toyota premio, just one brake light was working. even the plate lights were not working or probably the light system was set to off. 3 things to be alert as per my vision. Avoid walking with belongings during late hours. if you have a purse then wear it on the left side not towards the road side, if you are wearing a bagpack put both the straps on. & be alert of any car or motorcycle passing by, stopped or slowed. Stay Safe.
