the moonless, starry sky made me listen to starry, starry night to clear my head, but the clear skies and clear days have left me feeling remarkably light and free. this beautiful little - perhaps - window of gorgeous weather, the nights drawing in, knowing winter is coming: i have such a sense of grace, of freedom, free-falling as if in a leap off a cliff, not knowing or caring if i have wings, chute, or cushion. the feeling of grace. what a remarkably good time to observe a new year, on the turning of the seasons, with a view back, a view forward, and bright, bright colors a pure clear light.
