*they all got gassed* And unlike Boston- no one is cheering this time. Why? Gun sales soared through the roof as well. Why? As media fans the flames the crowds gather more. Black Panthers, the KKK, Al Sharpton... All there for the cameras- poor news crew even got gassed, a few reporters were arrested and now the FBI is involved. What i find funny is that its a controlled environment. A few blocks if that, and to bat- A NO FLY ZONE. FBI, State Police, and you can bet local sheriffs are there along with the local police. All in a few blocks. Alternative Media is even fanning the flames *THAT THIS* is what Martial Law will look like. All within a Few Blocks. Is this REALLY martial law or another publicity stunt.??? Under the constitution We the People are really the authority to protect our land within our borders. We turn a blind eye and relieve ourselves of duty in exchange for someone else to handle the crime. This is why gun sales go up- as deep down we know this at a subconsciousness level. We cheer the police state when its welcomed for our safety and scream foul when they overstep... Where do you find balance in this.?? Thats just one way to look at this situation in MO. Let me offer another view: Last year a little cowboy town north east of here with like 1 main stoplight. 2 punks out and about (cowboy town mind you where everyone has a gun) and up to no good took a pop shot at a cop. BY ACCIDENT one of the officers called in a code that said they needed backup from other agencies instead of backup from local police to hunt down the kids. You would have thought world war 3 was unfolding. This is what I learned- Sheriffs, police, and god knows who else fled from their beat from like 2 counties, and 4 cities. For 2 guys mind you- and in a town well protected. They shut down every way in and out of the town, and conducted street by street hunt. I had friends reporting live on FB as this militarized police presence stormed their street. Some applauded, some screamed, but the majority were shocked. Thing is- this was a small town- and it took how many agencies again.?? Where was the protection required for the OTHER 4 cities.?? Ferguson can be Oakdale- in that its taking every agency to handle a small section of a few blocks of protests. Think about this for a second. What about the rest of the area?? Martial Law = *FAIL* as this too looks like its all for the cameras. Who gets the blame in the end is what you should be asking. While I personally blame media for over hyping a non event and should be focusing on the kid, his family, and how the department is handling the case- they instead fan flames of the caliphate and civil unrest- at the same time, the typical political fox narrative is making sure this is blamed on the president who really has ZERO authority in this matter. op/ed: Kurt Mendonca time/3111474/rand-paul-ferguson-police/
