this case is an example of Georgia Justice (Cobb County in particular) ....give the hit-and-run driver six months but try the mother for homicide...thank god after three years that someone in Cobb County decided to do the right thing. Every other "criminal" should hope they win the brain lottery at the Cobb County DA that must be required to get a prosecutor and judge with the intelligence to dismiss such a ridiculous charge. Three years of suffering for this mother is punishment enough not to mention the lifelong loss of a child.
