Bedes World is located in Jarrow, on the south bank of the River Tyne, close to the city of Newcastle-upon-Tyne. By Car We are located 2 minutes from the A19 Tyne Tunnel south entrance (a toll tunnel). See map below. By Metro Bedes World is about a 20 minute walk from both Bede and Jarrow Metro Stations. Check via Google the route to walk or buses and taxis run from Jarrow Metro station, only a 5 minute drive from the museum. By Bus The number 27 bus stops close to the museum and runs regularly. Buses from Jarrow Metro Station going in the direction of South Shields stop near Bedes World before they reach the Tyne Dock stop listed on the timetables.
