this is from one of the moms of one of the kids who passed away in that car crash ////// An update from Ziggys mom. . . I am the proudest mama ever!! I got a call from Gift of Life yesterday and they let me know how many lives Ziggy saved and also who got his organs! He was able to donate 5 organs and saved 4 lives! His heart went to a 40 yr old male, his liver went to a 60 yr old male, his right kidney went to a 43 yr old male and his lungs went to a 64 yr old male in North Carolina! Also, he might be able to donate his corneas if they are healthy enough! Ziggy still lives on in those recip ients, and that brings me a little peace during this difficult time! He gave the best gift to those families! I will soon be able to contact those recipients and share Zachs story! Please take the time to become an organ donor!
