this is not a very good photo but would like to warn people thinking of planting this acer ( whatever kind it is ) and also query about whether it should be this size if you know it. When I planted it about 15 years ago it was from Woolworths and it said it would be 8-10 feet high max . It is now about 24 feet high and would be much more than wide if I didnt keep cutting it. Ignore the gazebo frame that just happened to be up when i took the picture. It is a lovely colour in Autumn but would have preferred a smaller one.
