this was pretty awesome to see. what do some homeless people do with money they are given. THIS is why i defend (to a particular friend of mine who isnt on facebook) why i give my change to panhandlers. you never know... and it isnt always going to the Bank of MGD (or other beer brand)... here are two things i do to try to help that do not take much effort that maybe you can try too. Walmart/biglots/walgreens all have fleece blankets for sale for 3/$10... i keep some in my truck and offer to anyone who looks like they can use another one.... two to three times a year i go to dollar store and get gallon ziplock freezer bag, mouthwash, deodorants, wet naps, and other things that might be useful traveling. if i have room i throw in snacks that dont require refrigeration (peanut butter is great) and provide a calorie load. its no where near the most i can do, but its something. and ill also get a few cans of dog food for same reason because its even harder when they have to share all their, already limited, food.
