Rain remains in the Central, the East and the South while the wind wave in the upper Andaman and the Gulf of Thailand is likely about 2 meters high. During 18-21 Aug, the monsoon trough will lie across the upper North and the Northeast to low pressure cell leading to more rain, as well as isolated heavy rain in the North and the upper Northeast. Tropical storm “UTOR” is expected to decline to a tropical depression and then a low pressure, respectively. Warning During 18-21 Aug, the people in the North and the upper Northeast should beware of heavy rain. All ships in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf of Thailand should proceed with caution during 15-16 Aug.
