I was also told by some heroine-addict Santa-lookalike in bright orange that I couldnt cross to Hindley street at all unless I was trying to get to work on the other side. He aggressively told me tough, youll have to go the long way, if you can find one Eventually I did thanks to a rude but slightly helpful worker who was letting people cross down by Currie St, but by then Id missed my train and had to detour through Topham Link to get back. Lift your game SA Police, and Credit Union; please pick workers with people skills and sincerity. If theyd all been nice about it Id have no complaints.
