we are proposing to create a fund to recreate in new recordings a series of the most requested and sought after filmscores that have never been issued previously or filmscores that we would like to have newly recorded. to fund these recordings we are looking to begin a fund that will cover the costs of the new recordings and the production of the cds. we will raise the funding through a subscription and membership programe that will be properly managed and audited. if we have sufficient interest then we will begin to create the fund and be able to continue the laudable work that has already been started by others. so if you are passionate about filmscores and see the need for rescuing these works then we would be happy to have you join us in a new venture that could see the scores you want finally realised. scores we are looking to re-record include, JOAN OF ARC,hugo friedhofer THE PRIDE AND THE PASSION,george antheil THE VIKINGS,mario nascimbene OBSESSION,bernard herrmann SONG OF BERNADETTE,alfred newman THE TEN COMMANDMENTS,elmer bernstein HELEN OF TROY,max steiner SODOM AND GOMORRAH,miklos rozsa BEN-HUR,miklos rozsa A DOUBLE LIFE,miklos rozsa SAHARA/FIVE GRAVES TO CAIRO,miklos rozsa DUEL IN THE SUN,dimitri tiomkin THE HIGH AND THE MIGHTY,dimitri tiomkin and there will be others.
