well done, dfriends, Hebrews 4:10 says, For he who has once entered [Gods] rest also has ceased from [d weariness nd pain] of human labors, just as God rested from those labors peculiarly His own. When u study d account of creation in Genesis chapter one, u ll observe dat man is d crown of Gods creation. God created man on d sixth day, in His own image nd likeness, after He had created everytin else. Satisfied nd joyful, d Bible says He rested frm all His works on d seventh day: Genesis 2:2 says, “And on d seventh day God ended his work which he had made; nd he rested...” When God was done creating man, everytin was ready. Mans first day in d earth was on d seventh day; Gods day of rest. Adam woke up to God, resting; He had finished all d work of creating d universe; there wasnt anytin for Adam to do except to appreciate God. Dis was Gods idea, purpose nd intent for man all along. Man is supposed to function frm a position of rest; free frm struggles, anxieties, turmoil nd hardships. U were born into Gods rest; not into struggles, worry, or stress. Those who dot understand dis truth live an unhappy, frustrated nd bitter life. God made u for His pleasure, so as to be pleased nd happy about u. No wonder He says in Matthew 11:28, “come unto me, all ye dat labour nd ar heavy laden, nd I ll giv u rest.” Dis is an invitation to those whose who ar still toiling, struggling nd battling in life; enter into d Lords rest. Matthew 11:29 He says “Take my yoke upon u, nd learn of me; for I am meek nd lowly in heart: nd ye shall find rest unto ur souls.” Dis is d life to which u hv been called; it is a life of beauty, glory nd nd grace!
