well today i did the full bike trail from okihau to kaikohe..20/ks..took me under 2 hours..but i was not speeding lol..its a brilliant track..wonderful scenery..passed by the lake.omarpere...and a river..a tiny waterfall..and an old railway track..but freaked out going thro the tunnel..it was pitch black an scary..i passed a group of young men..of the criminal sort..lol..guess from the local jail..working on the track..and they all saluted me..but i just weakly smiled and kept peddling as fast as i could. lol.. as you got further into the track there is a bmx section..if only i was young. :) then closer to kaikohe they are building a mountain bike section..all made of wood..now that ill give a go when its finished all an all it is a brilliant ride.altho there is a steep part after the lake..which nearly killed me..but i made it alive :P.i passed a few people riding in there and all are very friendly.so now im ready to do the rest of the bike trails.e summer i plan to up up an away..hit the road jack.as there are bike trails from the top to the bottom of new zealand yup..im gunna give it a go..why not. i say..its also a great way to see the country and meet new people.. yeah..whos coming with me??
