well, unfortunately the hearing aid that my friend gave me wont work. Its an older model probably 2009 and they dont have the programming ability anymore to adjust it to my needs. On a positive note, the audiologist feels good about MRS approving my request for financial assistance and even though it will take a bit longer, it should work out. He let me try some today and had me do a demo--wow! what a difference!! It was amazing how clearly peoples voices sounded. So cool! Im very excited to be able to get my own pair so that I can hear the world differently. :-)
