… what a beautiful day... It is 69 degrees on Fourth of July… it doesn’t get much better than this… I just came in from outside, been sitting at the picnic table shucking corn and de-corning the cob for lunch… soaking in the beauty was simply amazing… even the animals scampering around knows it is an awesome day… we have some feed that has fallen on the ground from the bird feeder… I have a squirrel and a blue jay having a Mexican standoff… or to be politically correct, a Hispanic standoff… I have baby geese (a month old) going under their fence, crossing the yard and standing at bay honking at me… somehow they feel I am out of place… we have had a limited number of hummingbirds this year but this morning they are swarming. ... again, it is a beautiful day and we are so blessed to live in this wonderful country… I agree it may not be perfect but it is the greatest country in the world… ... speaking of perfect, that is what I was thinking about as I was sitting outside… we have such an awesome God… he doesn’t do anything just “half-way” he PERFECTS… as I was sucking that corn I was noticing something… “how perfect it was created”… each kernel is filled with a tasty milky substance and it is protected by the silk… not only protected but the silk runs along each row of kernels allowing it to form separate… I know this may sound silly to a few, but some of the smallest details in this world we take for granted… again God never does anything “half-way” he PERFECTS… … I don’t know about you but sometime the mirror is not my friend… but the next time walk up to it take a good look, a really good look… PERFECTION. Our eyebrows are arched so sweat will not run into our eyes… our ears are curved to captures sound… our eyelashes bat away impurities that are in the air and if something does get in them, the tears washes it away… and wouldn’t we be in a heck of a fix if our nose wasn’t slanted… rain is one of my favorite things in this world and I would have already drown!! … I am thankful today for this beautiful country we live in and to God for ALL his PERFECTIONS… Big Hugs
