what is the difference between the seen and the unseen world? Rev 4:2 should remind us that there is a seen world and an unseen world. In the seen world, John was on Patmos. In the unseen world, he was in the spirit, and he looked as through a keyhole into heaven. That unseen world is more real and more important than the seen world. The unseen world controls the seen world. This is why Paul said, “while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal”
