with the slogan (life must continue) Alexandria Film Festival scheduled in it’s time And Canceling all the shows in the opening and closing concerts Al amir abaza, the film critic and the president of Alexandria film festival for Mediterranean countries , issued a statement saying: The film festivals are not just recreational activities held for entertainment and interestingness, but is a culture, thought ,principle and message. This festivals are Held in order to combine the cultures, civilizations and challenging circumstances and crises …..to assure that the friends of life will not let the opportunity to the makers of death and terror in order to demolish it’s contiuity and durability. So the festival management decided to challenge all circumstances, obstacles and hold the coming session in it’s time. And work on the implementation of its pre-set program in order to provide a message to the enemy world before the friend. Confirming that : Egypt in it’s journey to resist terrorism will not stop to be alive Abaza stressed that the festival decided to cancel the shows and the accompanying songs in the opening and closing ceremony which directed by Hisham Atwa under the supervision of Dr. Muhammad Abu al-Kheir recognition of those circumstances experienced by the country Which means that the concerts will include only the festival ceremony honors , arbitration committees and the guests of honor. And the contests , shows, full programs and seminars will be set in {Palace of festival at Hotel Royal Tulip - Innovation Center - and the French Cultural Center and Alexandria Atelier } The festival will be during the period from 11_16 september 2013 organized by the Egyptian society for writers and film critics , sponsored by culture, media and tourism ministers and the governor of Alexandria . In addition to Honorary presidency by the great artist mahmoud abdel aziz .
