youtu.be/TH79F0Hn56U Family, Statistics show there are 196 countries in the world if you include Taiwan. There are more than 450,000 churches in the United States according to Premier Tourism Marketing. Here is the denominational breakdown according to Barretts Encyclopedia: The definition of a denomination is this... a recognized autonomous branch of the Christian Church existing within a specific country There are a staggering 33,000 Christian denominations subdivided into 6 major ecclesiastico-cultural mega-blocs, laid out for you below from largest to smallest and rounded up or down for convenience. These numbers are based on year 2000 figures so the number has grown modestly a bit to more than 38,000 today. Independents (about 22000) Protestants (about 9000) Marginals (about 1600) Orthodox (781) Roman Catholics (242) Anglicans (168) So family there are 196 countries with 33,000 denominations. These denominations make up a little more than 2 Billion Christian believers world wide of which 450,000 different churches are right her in the US. 22000 + 9000 + 1600 + 781 + 242 + 168 = 33,000+ 33,000+ denominations world wide, with 450,000 various churches across the country! My questions are these: 1. Is this what God had in mind or does this seem like mass confusion? 2. What is wrong with all these men who share the same God but cant worship together? 3. Should the vast majority if not all of these churches close? 4. What does the future look like if this doesnt change and we keep adding more churches? AND FINALLY my last two questions.... 5. Are we dressing up and playing church vs. practically being the church depicted in the book of Acts? 6. Why so many churches? David Lee
