And the grimier the more attractive to me. It has something dark and deep, coming from a struggling place of the psyche, the more intense the more outstanding is the output in work. Ho hum humdrum does not equal real vibrant or shocking art , in whatever form, real art comes from the severity and carnal/ mental emotional/ spiritual struggle amidst the harshest realities of being what we call human... Nothing compares and nothing is more authentic than the blood sweat and tears which are alchemically transformed into amazing pieces of work which resonate at the deepest, strongest universal and archetypal forms of expression. It is a sheer joy of mine, a passion to see other artist working their magic and striving through the process of creation.
