ABC allowed certain scenes deemed too violent for network television, but under contract with King, all scenes were shown. Note: When the networks give you parental discretion, the scenes are still heavily censored. No nudity, naughty swear words and excessive violence. But I guess its ok for NYPD Blue to let Dennis Franz show his Ass.
