At one-year-old, Dahlia has her entire life ahead of her but will need someone to “tend” to her—to make sure she eats the right food, to make sure she gets the right amount of exercise, to make sure she learns the grown up doggie things like playing nice, walking nice. And in return, this flower of a girl will give someone lucky enough to get her years of doggie kisses! Its hard to know why no one came for Dahlia when she ended up in Brooklyn ACC but their loss can be your gain. But ACC have decided that Dahlia has had enough time to find a new family and have put her on tomorrow’s euthanasia list! She is healthy (except for the inevitable shelter “cold”) and did well on her behavioral eval. Her enthusiasm and playfulness would likely not make her a good match for someone with young children - but then, she’s a pup, so what more can one expect? Dahlia is the perfect flower waiting to be plucked-are you the person who can see her gracing your home? Are you the person ready for belly rubs and doggie kisses? Speak up to foster or adopt Dahlia.
